  • To ensure we have adequate time to clean and sanitize, we cannot offer late check-out or early check-in. Please arrange your travel plans to check in anytime after 4:00 pm and check out no later than 10:00 am.
  • If you wish to arrive before 4:00 pm, you are welcome to book the night before your stay.

Property Access

  • Thunderhead Ridge Getaways is a secluded and gated private community.
  • The cabin, deck, hot tub, free parking, and gas grill are available exclusively for your use during your stay.
  • You and your pet are welcome to walk along the roads in Thunderhead Ridge. Please remember to respect the privacy of the other guests and their dedicated space.
  • The cabin is about a quarter mile up a newly paved road. The roads nearby are paved but narrow. Drive slowly and stay safe.
  • The paved roads up to the cabins are slightly steep, but any vehicle will be fine.

Policies and Rules

  • PET POLICY: $50 PER RESERVATION
    • Up to 2 dogs allowed per booking.
    • A $50 pet fee is REQUIRED.
    • During booking please add on the Pet Fee under the “Enhance Your Stay” section of the reservation.
    • Dogs must be crated if left alone inside the cabin.
    • No dogs allowed on furniture or beds or linens — an extra fee will be charged if evidence is found.
    • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
    • Additional fees will be charged for any violations of these rules, including excessive cleaning, damage, or failure to pick up pet waste.
    • If you have questions about bringing your pet or the fee, please reach out.
    • Pets are not allowed at the country club.
  • No smoking or vaping of any substance indoors.
  • Keep cabin doors & windows closed if you smoke on the covered deck.
  • No glass at the hot tub.
  • Minimize noise after 10 pm.

  • Smart TVs are provided. You must log in to your own streaming accounts to use them.
  • A propane tank with gas for the grill and a starter bundle of firewood for the fireplace are provided. Additional firewood can be purchased at local stores.
  • Ice trays are provided; most guests bring extra ice.
  • The kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, Keurig drip and single-pod coffee maker, oven with cooktop, dishes, glasses, silverware, utensils, and basic cooking essentials.
  • Coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, coffee filters, and a variety of basic cooking spices are provided.
  • The cabin features a private hot tub on the deck and an indoor jacuzzi tub.
  • Access to a country club pool and workout center at Laurel Valley Country Club and Golf Course, approximately 5-10 minutes from the property. You may book a tee time. Pets are not allowed at the country club.
  • The property includes a pack-and-play for young children.
